t4签证包含哪些类型?
T4签证(学生类) 1、T4 (General) General Tiers 2-7 are for students under the age of 16. Tier 4 is for post-compulsory education and training, including vocational courses, where it applies to adults as well. The Department can apply Tier 4 restrictions in certain cases if they consider this necessary; one example would be a ban on all overseas students from studying at a particular institution. In such circumstances you will not be allowed to change your immigration status unless you have been invited by an approved sponsor or are entitled to enter under the ‘exceptional circumstances rule’. An approved Sponsor must be:
(a) A Higher Education Institution registered with Universities UK, or accredited by QAA;or
(b)A provider that has a licence issued by OFQUAL, or registered with BRELL,or another independent body recognized by OFQUAL. Please click here to see a full list of Approved Sponsors;
(c)An establishment providing child care, or teaching English as a foreign language, which has been approved by the Secretary of State, or recognised by an appropriate government department in their home country provided that they operate solely in the way described when such recognition was granted;OR
(d)For Tier 4 (Child) migrants a parent, guardian or adopting parent who holds a certificate of sponsorship or proof of payment of a visa fee for them. Where the child is a student with Tier 4 (General) child migrant status, the sponsor does NOT need to meet any of the requirements above. If there is more than one sponsor then they may only act jointly. All sponsors are required to comply with Home Office guidance about Sponsorship, including maintaining a Sponsor Record and meeting specific financial requirements. You cannot work whilst on a Tier 4 visa until you obtain permission to do so from the Home office , normally via a work permit or a Tier 5 Certificate of Sponsorship.
